The pizza was slightly average. Its was a good restraunt in a small town. The lighting is perfect for a date and so are the cocktails. The service was brilliant. Was very quick to order and eat.
This place was open just a bit later than the other restaurants which was amazing as we turned up at 8:20pm and most places in apollo bay had stopped servicing food. The food was really good, I'd recommend the calamari starter. The staff are friendly and they have a good selection of local beers too.
Lovely staff and good food. We were seated without a booking because the brewhouse we had planned on going to stopped serving food at 8pm. So glad we ended up here.
Would highly recommend making a reservation. Even on a Monday night, it was absolutely full until 8.30pm and even staff struggled to find seating for 2. However I can see the hype... food was amazing! Had grilled calamari, which was incredible, house special spinach ravioli and pizza. All of it was top notch quality. Tastiest italian meal I had in my entire Melbourne trip. Well done. Staff failing to place me for 20 minutes was a bad start but finished well.
This chef knows how to cook. I had the grilled calamari for entree and pork belly for main and my wife had the linguine with blue swimmer crab. All of our dishes were really tasty with delicious flavours. I was particularly impressed by the pork belly being cooked perfectly as I have been to numerous restaurants which can't get it right. The service was also very friendly and attentive.
