My wife and I attended with our two small children, and had a lovely time. The menu is standard pub fair, well presented, and the staff were helpful. Nothing that stands out, but I'd recommend it for a pleasant evening of outdoor dining (if the weather is fine), over looking the beach. Otherwise there are plenty of indoor tables.
Great spot but if dining outside you will need to be near the entrance as that sun can be piercing toward the back of the outside dining area. Can only comment on the pizza menu as that was the only option available . Not the best.. Processed cardboard textured base with lovely toppings.. Almost got it Cuatomer service, friendly and helpful.
Great food. We had the oysters and prawn dishes and they were delicious. The only thing which stopped it from being five star was having to go to two separate sides of the venue to order your food and drinks. No table service offered apart from delivery of food. Would expect better service for the price of food and drink.
It was amazing. We went in for dinner an we were surprised. 4 meals and everyone was perfect. Steaks are on the point. Watermelon salad looks and taste amazing. Vegetarian pizza was perfect and the same with the fish.So just perfect!
The Apollo Bay Hotel is a great relaxed upper market pub. Pleasant, friendly approachable staff that are willing to help and offer any assistance when needed.The saffron beer battered fish n chips were amazing. Both my wife and i ordered it and greatly enjoyed it, the serving size was great, it came out quickly and the chips an salad were fresh and crisp.The venue is clean and tidy and the music is loud enough to enjoy the music and have a normal speaking volume conversation.
