Driving around trying to find a place that doesn't charge $70+ for 1 night in an over crowded campground during school holidays and we accidentally found this place. Awesome reception staff, GREAT spot by the river, not over crowded and great prices for tents. Highly recommend !
It is in a great place and is very laid back. Its dog friendly and cheap. Staff and people are nice. Although the toilets and showers are a bit dated but other than that its great.

Best caravan park I have stayed at hands down! Originally only came here to use the showers but ended up staying the night. The staff were wonderful. Our campsite was very small but the grass was lush and the perfect size for our van and annex. We were lucky enough to overlook the river and surrounding paddocks with baby cows and sheep grazing away. There was a koala in the tree nearby and plenty of bird life. Facilities were good, not sure if there was a camp kitchen though?The small IGA is about a 17min walk away.I would 100% recommend this place and happily stay here again in the future.
From a landscape point of view there is not much more you can ask for! Ocean, countryside, coastline.... From a fishing point of view you have a river and the beach. The campground has everything you need. From cabins to unpowered sites, everything clean and tidy! Friendly and helpful staff. AND a security patrol in the evenings that makes sure there is piece and quite after a certain point of time in the evening! Overall, highly recommended!
