An amazing location, right at the beach. Clear water and a family friendly surf. Some of the best rock pools around and right on the Great Ocean Walk. Great for families, with cabins, powered and unpowered sites, its got lots of options. Theres even a resident koala you might be lucky enough to spot.
Busy time of year and they got us in...tight squeeze but great 'neighbours' ....enjoyed our stay
We have been coming here for the past 15 years due to the amazing location and pet friendly campsites and have always chosen to stay during off peak season mainly due to the inadequate bathroom facilities when the camp is full and because it is more peaceful. This was the case this time during our first week however, we found our second week here to be a frustrating and disappointing one as we have had to compete with hordes of school children attending a week of outdoor camping. The amenities have not been able to cope with the onslaught and have been dirty and unpleasant to use when they were finally available. If large school groups are going to become standard practice, I would hope that management informs customers at the time of booking when this will occur so that they can amend their booking dates if they prefer a more peaceful stay at an otherwise great location.
