Was taken on a 4 hr fishing by my fiancee as a birthday present. I was given a 24kg rod to catch small flatties with. The bail arm on the real never seated properly and the tackle was cheap and set up poorly. The skipper barely said anything to us or the other people on the boat while he fished himself with his better rod and reel combo set up with decent tackle too (I was so angry). To top it off I was not allowed to fillet my own catch on the boat and was told to walk over to the boat ramp to fillet them. When i explained i was on holiday so didn't have a knife to fillet with they advised i get one from my hotel. I ended up giving my catch to a family fishing off the wharf. I will never go out with this mob again and advise you all not too also. Read the other reviews and take heed. There are way better charters to go out on. I am a fisherman who has owned a few boats myself over the years and have been out on many fishing charters. I have never seen anything like this.
Beautiful cruise in the bay. We couldn't spot the shipwreck so Robin was nice enough to let us more time with the seals. First time so close to such a large colony of seals. We had a good time but not worth the money.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS:We went on a Seal cruise with this crowd and were bitterly disappointed - After paying a whopping $40.00 per person, we were taken out to see the Seals for only about 5 minutes, before the skipper, Max, decided it was time to turn the boat around and head back to the pier. He seemed in a massive rush to get back which was a real shame as it would've been lovely to have a bit longer to watch these beautiful animals at play. Very disappointing....
It is my first time to fish in the ocean! So excited and catch a big guy! Nice experience! 70$ two hours is worthy!
